KBC Group NV, KBC Bank NV and KBC Insurance NV – collectively referred to here as ‘KBC’ – respect the privacy of visitors to their website. The ‘capture’ of personal details via the KBC website and the use KBC makes of this information is governed by the Belgian Privacy Act of 8 December 1992.

For instance, your personal details may be used to confirm receipt of an e-mail or to send requested information to you at home. Personal information may also be used for marketing purposes, such as offering you appropriate products or services. Moreover, as a customer, you are entitled to object – in writing and at no charge – to the use of your personal details for direct marketing purposes. The right of objection may be exercised at any KBC Bank branch (using a pre-printed form) or at the Customer Service Department, 100 Brusselsesteenweg, 3000 Leuven.
Personal details relating to customers and non-customers will not be sold to third parties.
The KBC website uses cookies, or small text files that are created by a program on the KBC website server, but saved on the hard disk of your computer. These cookies are needed for technical reasons to ensure proper communication between your computer and the KBC website (for instance, communication with the operating system and browser on your computer, saving your preferred language). In addition, they are used to assess whether the information made available and the way in which it is made available is useful or can be improved upon.
